I Am Love (Io sono l’amore) is an Italian drama about love, passion, and family, directed by Luca Guadagnino. Starring Tilda Swinton, who is also one of the film’s producers.
Exquisite cinematography. Swinton’s wardrobe by Raf Simons for Jil Sander.
The film is released in the UK on April 9, and in the U.S. in June. I can’t wait to see it.
Belgian band Dez Mona started as a duo between double bass player Nicolas Rombouts and vocalist Gregory Frateur. They played their first concert in 2003.
Dez Mona played at EKKO in Utrecht on February 21. An incredible performance. Their deep, emotional sound is mesmerizing. With roots in jazz, experimental music, gospel, and drama, Dez Mona knows how to tell a story in a beautiful and unique way.
The crystal water bottle and Frateur’s sequined jacket were part of the story too. And in addition to the songs from the new album Hilfe Kommt, one of my favorite tracks Blue Girl took the stage at the end of the concert. A true treat.
Here are a few images from the show.
Below is the video to Carry On – the first single from their new album Hilfe Kommt.
